My wife and I have been involved with Catfish Masters of America going on (17) years. We have had great years and not
so great years, trying to build on what we felt was a good thing for catfish angler's.We have had people take our rules and
ideals and try to start another clubs, just because they didn't like how things were going. That only seperates the meaning of
club. You can not think about what you want, you have to think in the terms of whats best for the club.We are all adults
and should be able to resolve any problems which can happen. That is the way we should look at the number of clubs we
have right here on the Ohio river.I am not mentioning names, but there is a least ( 7 ) differt clubs that hold tournaments on
the river from Cinn,Ohio to Evansville,Indiana.Their's usually ( 2 or 3 ) clubs putting on a tournament at the same time, some
at the same ramp.I personaly think this is a waste of catfish clubs resources. All anglers need get together and work out any
problem and have one club.Big sponsors would really benefit from this and so would anglers. There not going to evan look at
small clubs that only have a few boats fishing.I would really like to retire from heading up Catfish Masters and just stay on as
a very activity member and do what I can to build up a club. Some one else can comitte who has the same thing in mind to
build and establish one club that we can all be proud of.To all club CEO'S / Presidents / Officers or Members lets set a Date
to hold a Confernce on the Ideal of one club.Lets not let this opportunity just slip away.If interested in doing in this ideal call or
